Help A Brother Out is the AAC’s professional development program involving matching Atlanta-area Brothers with other Brothers for jobs, mentoring, development opportunities and more!
We are looking at involving the collegiate chapters in this initiative in order to prepare them for their professional life after graduation and continue to help Brothers all along as they are involved in the Atlanta Alumni Chapter.
The networking-ability of the AAC is a huge asset and having Brothers who have served many roles, both inside the Fraternity as well as outside in their own companies is a great benefit to new and returning Brothers.

Recently, many young professionals have gotten involved in the Atlanta Alumni Chapter. Our chapter has noticed, however, there needs to be a coordinated effort to draw in the recent college grads into the organization. In order to achieve this goal, a Young Professional Recruitment Committee is being organized and we’d love for our 20-something members to become involved! This committee will focus on recruiting graduating seniors from chapters within our region and local young brothers through chapter visits, events held in Atlanta, and increased marketing efforts.

It is with great sympathy that we announce the passing of Brother Wendy Braxton, Founding Member of the Nu Pi Chapter (Nu Pi #9) at Kennesaw State University and active member in the AAC.
Please keep her memory and her family in your thoughts in the days ahead. The world is truly better because she dwelt upon it.
In lieu of flowers, Wendy Braxton’s family has requested that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, as it was her favorite charity. Please click here to donate in her memory.
There has been a Facebook page setup where we can all share memories of Wendy: http://www.facebook.com/pages/In-Loving-Memory-of-Wendy-K-Braxton/174024852687036
There will be a wake for Wendy at Manuel’s Tavern at North Ave and N Highland (602 N Highland Ave NE, Atlanta) from 6:30-8:30pm this Thursday, November 17th. Please come share with us your best stories and fondest memories about Wendy! Please respond to the Facebook Event here: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=266592313386963
